Silk and Side Roads

Sky's the Limit

Some trips are planned, others happen somewhere between where you started and where you thought you were going.

Silk and Sideroads lives somewhere in-between.  It’s a collection of real places; campgrounds, pull-offs, quite corners and overlooked stops.  With them we pair moments you don’t expect to notice until you slow down.  The side roads are practical, grounded and honest; where to go, what it’s like and who it might be right for.  The silk is softer, something layered in like, small details, subtle shifts, and the kind of awareness that shows up when nothing is demanding your attention.

Whether you’re passing through for a night or traveling across the country, this space here is to give you options, and something more, if you’re open to it.

Our First Adventure - Sequoia National Park

It begins along the Highway 99 in California from just north of Visalia through Three Rivers and into the park entrance.  But it isn’t limited to just one place.  Wherever there’s a pause, a detour or a moment worth noticing…there’s a side road.  And sometimes, a little silk.
